We’re excited to announce the opening of our 7th shopfront location in Hong Kong.
Tucked away on Mercury Street in Tin Hau, our new store will be bringing a paired back coffee experience to the area’s lively food scene, which is known for serving up local delicacies like beef brisket noodles, clay pot rice and egg waffles.
For our founder, Benny Leung, the inspiration behind the new space was to create another urban sanctuary amongst the everyday chaos of Hong Kong city. Benny has conceived a design that focuses on creating a space of substance, in which customers can enjoy their coffee experience without distractions.
Continuing with NOC’s ethos for minimalism, the new Mercury store features floor-to-ceiling windows to accentuate the sense of spaciousness created by the high ceiling, and to allow natural light into the space. The L-shaped coffee bar is crafted with smooth concrete in flowing, curvilinear lines, and highlighted with white LED fittings. To add warmth and texture of natural elements into the space, a wooden wall paneling has been installed near the seating area by the window.
Our baristas will be serving up our signature No. 18 and No. 34 house roasted blends, plus a seasonal selection of single origins as pour overs. From the kitchen, we’re offering up a series of healthy, delicious brunch items, including Scrambled Crab Toast and Loaded Potato Waffle from our Spring menu, and of course, all of your standard favourites.
We’re opening the doors from 11am this Friday, 7th June and the first 50 customers will receive the beverage of their choice for free and a limited edition pin from NOC’s own line of merchandise.
